HOUSTON—The Bayou City was buzzing as it prepared to welcome President Barack Obama to Houston. Two fundraising events were scheduled to be held in honor of the president Friday.
The first event will be held at Minute Maid Park Friday evening and tickets will cost $500 each.
Later that night, a fundraising dinner will be held at the home of a River Oaks couple. The fee for that event is $39,000.
