HOUSTON—Age is nothing but a number, hot – smoking hot – is infinite and true beauty is timeless. Just ask Jimisu Balko and her “Beauties.” Not only are these ladies drop-dead gorgeous, but they have big hearts as well. The ladies were out in full force in downtown Houston Friday, September 28, to raise money for “No Kill” animal rescue shelters in the Houston area.
Clad in black at Tip Out Magazine’s Pajama Party at the House of Blues, Jimisu’s “Beauties” (women ages 40 to 59) and her “Dolls” (ages 21 to 39) heated up the Peacock Room as they sold merchandise and signed their 2013 collection of calendars as “Houston Strikes Out Against Animal Hunger and Cruelty.”
The calendars; Bearing Our Skin to Save Theirs!, Beauties on Bikes, Pin Ups for Pets, Beauties on Hot Rods and Blue Collar and Proud of IT! cost $20 and 100 percent of the net proceeds collected are given to help save her beloved “fur babies.”
But just who are Jimisu and her Beauties? A former Miss Clearlake who also achieved success as a model, actress and TV host, Balko currently owns Affordable Divorce Texas. She put her energetic personality, huge heart and fantastic figure to good use and decided to become a powerhouse at giving back and uplifting women.

She formed her “Beauties” – a group of strong, sophisticated, confident, career-minded and intelligent women to help with her passion and cause to bring awareness to animal cruelty and help save as many animals as possible.
The funds raised go toward veterinary costs; including spaying/ neutering, heart worm prevention, vaccinations and micro-chipping. According to her website, donations have helped Guardian Pit Bull Rescue, Friends for Life and Scouts Honor Rescue.
Balko says her overall dream is to one day raise enough money to open her own animal rescue shelter.
Until then, she and her bombshells are on a mission volunteering countless hours to help end animal cruelty once and for all.
