More than 70 vendors will be in attendance at the City of Pasadena’s Senior Expo, and many free health screenings will also be available. The event will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center.

The free health screenings will include tests for: body mass index, balance, blood pressure, bone density, cholesterol, glucose and posture, among others. The vendors scheduled to be in attendance at the event range from medical organizations and housing facilities to city departments and community organizations.

In addition to the information and health screenings that attendees at the expo will receive, the first 300 people will also be given a free t-shirt by the City of Pasadena’s Madison Jobe Senior Center.

Admission is free, and the Senior Expo is open to all Harris County residents who are at least 50 years old. The event will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center, located at 7902 Fairmont Parkway.
