Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston’s daughter has been moved to another hospital in Atlanta. Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her home over the weekend. Nick Gordon, who claims to be the 21-year-old’s husband, and another friend found her face-down in a bathtub filled with water.
Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital and later placed in a medically-induced coma. She was later moved to Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital.
A lawyer for Bobbi Kristina’s father said his team is investigating what led up to the incident.
The family also said there are no records of a legal marriage for Bobbi Kristina and her longtime friend.
Attorney Christopher Brown also said Bobbi Kristina “is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon.”
As for her condition, the family has been tight-lipped. A source close to the family told CNN that Brown’s eyes opened and closed a few times Monday, but that doctors told family members not to read too much into that movement. The source added that Brown had seizures Monday.
“We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time,” Bobby Brown said in the statement.
This tragedy comes nearly three years after Whitney Houston was found dead in a hotel bathroom near Los Angeles.
