Once again, Stacey Dash has not only angered the African American community, but a television network! And not just any ole’ network, one that was once considered her employer at one time, but that’s neither here nor there at the moment. Houston’s “Trill OG” Bun B even had to “Tell [Her} Something Good!”
On Wednesday’s episode of Fox & Friends, the 49-year-old actress addressed the controversy concerning the lack of diversity in the 2016 Oscar nominations saying it was “ludicrous” after Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee said they were not attending the award ceremony. Smith and Lee’s statements were somehow confused with
“boycotting.”
Dash said, “I think it’s ludicrous. We have to make up our minds; either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards, and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms. It’s a double standard[…]Just like there shouldn’t be a Black History Month. We’re American, that’s it.”
Although Dash made some great points in her interview, her “Clueless” brain seemed to spark a slight feud from the BET network reminding Dash where she came from.
Dash appeared on “The Game,” a BET original show that ran from 2009 to 2011. Of course after #BlackTwitter users came out in droves to grill Dash, BET shared a photo of Dash during the episode.
I know you read that shade honey!
However, it didn’t stop there!
TV One’s Roland Martin outlined a laundry list of things showing Dash that she has been enjoying the fruits of being a “darker berry” and must have gotten a case of amnesia. He even pointed out her “not so high-and-mighty” photo shoots for Black Men’s publications, like King Magazine. Need a refresher? Peep the video below.
And Houston’s legendary “Trill OG” Bun B even weighed in on it all. The Rice University lecturer announced his frustration with Dash and her lack of understanding on the issue. Bun B referred to her “self-hate” and even called her a coon.
And he did not let up off of her when people tried to have him flagged on Twitter.
So the Stacey Dash sympathizers flagged my picture on Instagram and got it removed. Doesn’t stop the Trill!

Ouch! Dang, Stacey…you just had to do it again!
