HOUSTON—It appears that everything one NBA legend touches truly turns to gold – or at least – green. Earvin “Magic” Johnson is now part owner of the Houston Pavilions.
Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds and Houston-based Midway Companies partnered to buy the three block property.
That’s not all Johnson has here in Houston. His company also owns the Marq*E Entertainment Center and the Hotel Icon in town.
Some of the tenants in the pavilions include House of Blues and McCormick & Schmick’s.
