Comedian Katt Williams is accused of assaulting multiple people over just a few short days.
The comic was arrested on Monday for ‘laying hands’ on a store clerk in Atlanta. According to authorities, Micah “Katt” Williams allegedly punched Paul Loce, a 54-year-old salesman at Leslie’s Pool Supplies, during a heated argument.
Williams was taken into custody and charged with battery, but later released on a $5,700 bond. This was the second alleged assault for Williams and his entourage that week.
Williams is also accused of physically attacking five women on Sunday and taking their cellphones.
Five women claimed the comedian agreed to take a photo with them, but once they begin to film him, Williams flipped out and started fighting them, according to the report.
The women said Williams punched them, pulled out a gun, then took their cell phones.
If this is true, what in the hell is going on? Doesn’t he know he can’t go around punching people without repercussions?
Williams is disputing those allegations. He said the women took photos and videos of him without his consent and harassed him. He also said the women snatched his chain from his neck and one of them said she was going to her car to get something to pop somebody,” according to the report. A member of Williams’ entourage allegedly took his gun and sat it down on a concrete post.
What a mess! This incident is currently under investigation, officers are trying to sort through all the he say/ she say.
Let’s get it together, people! Assault is no laughing matter, especially when it involves one of our funniest — funny guys!
