HOUSTON — “WERK” IT OUT! They showed up and showed out at the “Dancing with the Houston Stars” charity gala, presented by Urban Souls Dance Company. The event was held at Grooves on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
Contestants included Dr. Heather Brown, Dr. Craig Brown, Steven “ColeColors” Coleman, CleRenda McGrady, Desrye Morgan, Keith Davis, Kim Roxie, Kenny E. Lloyd, Juliet K. Stipeche, and LaRence Snowden. Attendees were decked out old-school-style for the night’s theme: “Harlem to Hollywood: The Sparkling Speakeasy.”
It is almost needless to say that everyone was on point, dressed in character or their social best, and it was a fun night for all. Check out the slideshow of the beautiful event. Way to go, Houston!
