HOUSTON – University of Houston Football Head Coach Major Applewhite will serve as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo parade marshal at the 2017 Downtown Rodeo Parade on Sat., March 4!
In the latest #HTownTakeover event, Applewhite and his family will lead the Downtown Rodeo Parade, followed by show and other local dignitaries, marching bands, floats and thousands of trail riders, starting at 10 a.m. The ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run kicks off the event at 9:45 a.m.
Following the parade, Applewhite and the Houston program will turn its attention to 2017 spring workouts with the first practice of the period scheduled for Mon., March 6.
