Celebrity Chef Adrianne Calvo reveals her culinary masterpieces in her very own “I’m allergic to boring!” style, in a first of its kind cookbook “#MaximumFlavorSocial: Food,Family and Followers”
I hesitate to use the word cookbook, as this offering, with its stimulating imagery, is well suited for a coffee table; though “foodies” probably won’t let it out of their kitchens.
Chef Adrianne’s new trendsetting cookbook is infused with social media, taking it beyond recipes in a way we have not seen before.
Resembling a social media icon with its square shape, “#MaximumFlavorSocial” is filled with Tweets and Facebook and Instagram comments complementing the 75 delicious recipes from dishes served at Chef Adrianne’s Vineyard Restaurant and Wine Bar.
To top it off, the book features mouthwatering snaps taken by Chef Adrianne in her restaurant, as she was creating dishes for that night’s menu, which she then posted online for her patrons and potential diners to see.
The response to her postings was uber-validated as her followers grew, and guests flooded to the restaurant. Her pictures online and in the book are maximum-taste provoking, illustrated by one Twitterer who put it this way: “I almost took (a) bit(e) out of my phone! LOL Wow!”
In keeping with social media trends, the book contains her profile in the #INTRO and #THROWBACK chapters, where she shares her motivations, how social media had become a part of her daily routine and some #tbt pics.
Completely transparent, Chef Adrianne has been sharing her tips, secrets and ingredients socially for years, and the collection is now in her new book.
“I didn’t’ realize it at the time, but one particular little social media habit I kind of fell into really became a signature tool for me to get into the minds and palates of my present and potential future guests,” Chef Adrianne said.
