How did your favorite Hollywood stars spend Halloween, and more importantly, how did we do it up here in H-Town? Well, take a look!
Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon and their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, dressed as ‘The Incredibles’ for Halloween.
A pregnant Beyonce was in great spirits – and a great costume—as she dressed up like a Bumble Bee, with matching striped stilettos, of course. Bey and her little bundle bump attended the “Gypsy Halloween” party, hosted by Kanye West and Anja Rubik in NYC.
Heidi Klum and husband Seal donned matching monkey costumes for Klum’s 12th Annual Halloween Bash Monday at the Dream Downtown hotel. Klum said she was the “link between man and ape.” It took the super model a grueling six hours to transform herself into the shapely beast as she was covered in fur from head to toe. Klum said despite the amount of time it took her to get ready, she was quite comfortable.
Russell Simmons and Andre Harrell attended Klum’s party and came dressed up as Run DMC.
Tyson Beckford arrived as a heartthrob – oh wait, that’s every day of the year– but yes, he was there wooing the ladies.
There were also lots of other events celebrated around NYC.
Basketball Wives’ star Jennifer Williams, the Queen of Hearts, threw a party in Webster Hall, and Salt-n-Pepa attended the ‘Skater Zombies and Surfer Chicks’ costume party extravaganza.
And me, well I am no Hollywood celebrity, but my friends and I have been “partying like rock stars” attending various costume parties right here in the Bayou City for the last two weeks.
Last Saturday, I attended the 2212 Woodhead Annual Halloween Party in Houston’s Montrose area, benefiting Houston’s HIV/ AIDS Community.
The party was hosted by Bering Omega Community Services board member Fernando Arambura, along with his business partner and girlfriend Sarah Walters. Bering Omega is a wonderful charity that provides a number of services to those living with the HIV/ AIDS virus.
On Hallow’s Eve, my girls and I did a little “old-school” club hopping at various Houston hot spots.
And on Halloween, of course I took the kids trick-or-treating.
I guess it is safe to say, Halloween 2011 was a bang for everyone! But guess what, I am kind of relieved it’s over!
