First Lady Michelle Obama recently broke the Internet with her first single “Go To College” with Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah.
Twitter went crazy using the hashtag #FLOTUSBars after seeing the music video apart of her Better Make Room campaign.
Many users were so excited and were surprised by her verse:
“South Side Chicago, we all know, we had to do overtime every night to make it tomorrow,” she rhymes as her graduation photo floats in the background. “And everyone could really make their dream true. Hey, kid listenin’ in Michigan, that could be you!”
The First Lady’s Better Make Room campaign is to encourage high school students ages 14-19 to make that next step and to go to college.
Other companies like Vine, The CW, and the YMCA are also partners with the Better Make Room campaign.
