NEW YORK—Whoever thought there was an age limit on when you can find that special someone, obviously has NOT talked to the “Queen of Soul.” Aretha Franklin, 69, is engaged to longtime friend William “Willie” Wilkerson, according to People.com.
The Grammy-winning singer, who got engaged over the holidays, said that she and Wilkerson are considering a summer wedding, perhaps in Miami Beach and wants to follow the ceremony with a reception on a private yacht. She is considering Vera Wang, Valentino and Donna Karan to design her dress.
Franklin joked, “No, I’m not pregnant.”
This will be her third walk down the aisle.
