Beat the Texas summer heat while supporting a good cause on July 15 at MainStreet America for Special Olympics Texas’ (SOTX) first-ever summer Polar Plunge. Registration to cool off in an ice-filled pool while helping SOTX athletes in the Greater Houston Area is now open. Day of event registration will be held beginning at 9 a.m. and the first plunge will occur at 10 a.m.

Pet owners whose dogs and cats need vaccinations are encouraged to attend a low-cost clinic hosted by Pet Vaccination Services (PVS) at the Galveston County Animal Resource Center (ARC) on Saturday, June 24, 2017. County pet registration and microchipping will also be offered at the event.
