Houston Astros owner Jim Crane is opening his second Italian restaurant in downtown Houston on Friday. Osso & Kristalla is a casual trattoria located next door to Potente, an upscale restaurant (also owned by Crane) that opened earlier this month.

[Sidenote: I am a card-carrying Landry’s Select Club member, and my children and I dine at Saltgrass Steakhouse at least twice a month. One of my favorite places, so this is very exciting news for the Baytown area.]
