Shirley Caesar files lawsuit over viral #UNameIt Challenge

She's got beans, greens, potatoes and tomatoes, but now filing a lawsuit has been added to that list! Legendary gospel singer and pastor Shirley Caesar is now suing DJ Suede over the video challenge that led to many remixes and tons of laughter! Although Caesar was overwhelmed with joy due to the popularity of her famous, unexpected line while performing the song “Hold My Mule,” she is showing much disapproval for DJ Suede’s unauthorized remix of the song. Spring ISD Homeless Resource Center serves students in need

Officially launched at the start of the 2016-2017 school year, the Spring ISD Homeless Resource Center is helping to overcome some behind-the-scenes barriers to education regularly faced by students in the district. The center, which is a joint effort between the district’s Federal and State Programs Department and Harris County Community Youth Services (CYS) caseworkers assigned to the district, provided backpacks, school supplies, school uniforms and personal hygiene products directly to almost 300 district students during the early weeks of the school year, and continues to serve additional homeless students weekly....
