In what some considered to be the most dangerous place in America, their voices changed the world.
In what may be the most explosive movie to hit the screen this summer, the real life story behind the most controversial rap group of all times — N.W.A.– is coming to theaters this summer.
Directed by F. Gary Gray, the movie about Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy E and the rest of the group will star some eerily familiar faces — in a way — by some of the group’s own sons.
The film stars O’Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre and Jason Mitchell as Easy-E. Paul Giamatti portrays the group’s manager.
Ice Cube and Dr. Dre are co-producers of the film.
“Straight Outta Compton” opens August 15th.
