HOUSTON—Exotic Driving Experience (EDE) announced that it will offer exotic car drive and ride programs at MSR Houston for three days this summer as part of its 2012 tour.
Featuring supercars by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Audi, EDE will operate on the 1.3 mile road course at MSR Houston August 17 – 19, allowing participants to feel the powerful speed and acceleration while also testing the precise handling of these high performance driving machines.
EDE opened for business in Orlando, FL at The Exotics Course at Walt Disney World® Speedway on January 16, 2012.
“These supercars have been a big hit at Disney,” says Mike Bartelli, Chief Marketing Officer of Petty Holdings, LLC, owner and operator of EDE. “We’re looking forward to making them available to supercar enthusiasts in the Houston area.”
MSR Houston, located 35 minutes outside the city, opened in 2005 and since then has become one of the premier road course facilities in Texas.
Program offerings include 6-lap driving experiences starting at $169, with additional lap upgrades available, and 2-lap Thrill Rides where you ride shotgun with a professional, starting at $99. Reservations are required for all driving experiences. Thrill Rides can be purchased in advance or at-track, reservations are not required.
MSR Houston is the third of five stops that make up The Exotic Driving Experience Tour. Tour locations include the road course at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. (June 15 – June 17), Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. (June 22 – June 24), MSR Houston in Texas (August 17 – August 19), NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, L.A. (August 21 – August 22), and the road course at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, T.X. (August 24 – August 26).
