LOS ANGELES—E! News host Giuliana Rancic says she is choosing to have a double mastectomy. The announcement comes six weeks after the 37-year-old announced she has breast cancer.
Rancic, who broke the news on NBC’s “Today” show Monday, said while it was not an easy decision to make, she feels it is the best one for her and is not wasting any time to have the procedure completed.
Rancic plans to have the surgery next week and hopes to be recovered by New Year’s so she and her hubby, Bill Rancic, can celebrate in Times Square.
Rancic said she is thankful for the overwhelming show of love, prayers and support from her fans after revealing her diagnosis in October.
We wish her well and pray for her speedy recovery.
