I know we won’t have to ask “Where’s the Beef,” because as long as Ronnie Killen is at the grill, the beef will be juicy, thick and made to perfection.
The “King of Barbecue and Steaks” is expanding his restaurant repertoire and giving us good Southern folks exactly what we love — a hamburger joint!
Chef Killen says the restaurants will have a 50s-style theme, and diners can pick their own blend of favorites, including beef brisket, pork belly and Neuski bacon. The restaurant will also be making hot dogs from scratch.
Killen’s Burger will be opening in Pearland on May 28, and for you burger aficionados, that’s NATIONAL BURGER DAY!
A Facebook page has already popped up and, judging from the comments, we are already salivating.
The owner also expressed his gratitude in a post.
Another chapter in my life started today. So appreciative and humbled to be living out my dream. Thank you for all the support. I promise this will be a pretty cool hamburger place!

We jacked this pic from Killen’s Facebook showing one of the burgers we can expect in all its splendor. All we can say is ….yum! Countdown!
