The culinary scene has taken international dessert tasting to another level.
The first ever “Poop Café’ Dessert Bar” is the next big thing happening in Toronto, a city in Canada known for its innovative dining ventures.
The new café was started by Lien Nguyen, who hopes to make the new “poop” concept a trending thing.
“I’m trying to make poop cute,” said Nguyen.
The concept was inspired by Nguyens’ visit to Taiwan where she stopped by a “toilet-themed” restaurant.
“It’s funny to put food and poop together; it’s a great comparison. It stayed in my mind for a long time. As soon as I finished school, I said, ‘OK, I’m going to bring the restaurant to Toronto,’” she said.
What can restaurant patrons experience at the “Poop Café’ Dessert Bar”? They can expect to eat out of lavatory and urinal-shaped dishes, while sitting on toilet shaped seats.
The menu will consist of traditional Thai, Japanese and Korean desserts like patbingsoo (red beans with ice), including chocolate ice cream.
