Many of us never thought we’d see the day that Bob Barker retired, then we never thought we’d see the day when we would get comfortable with seeing someone else help others spin the big wheel, and just when we did get comfortable with Drew Carey—our beloved one returns—but only for a short while.
Bob Barker, the longest running and most celebrated game show host of all time, returned to Price Is Right Thursday –get this – for his 90th birthday!
Bob served as host from 1972 to 2007, and has been jumped on, hugged to the dickens, and kissed (more than 9,000 times) by more women than any Hollywood man can boast. Great gig, no wonder he stuck around so long!
He passed the torch — and the love — on to Carey, and says he feels his successor is doing a fantastic job. Still, he is recognized everywhere he goes.

“You know wherever I go, people on the street say ‘Hey Bob, come on down,’” he said. “You know, but I want to say, ‘That’s not really my line.’”
But we can definitely credit the animal rights activist with one famous tag line that is burned in our memories –“And have your pets spayed or neutered.”
At any rate, it was great to see him back up on the big stage and looking just as good as ever!
