The Muppets are back on primetime TV, but as “adults” this time. The series premieres Tuesday on ABC with the first episode, “Pig Girls Don’t Cry.” It is expected to be packed with star power, with guests including Josh Groban and Elizabeth Banks.
The Muppets are huge stars. They have decades of experience in show business and have plenty of movies under their belts. No wonder these puppets are loved all over Hollywood; even Kerry Washington had the chance to meet them!
The new series has a twist with a contemporary documentary-style format. For the first time ever, the series will explore the Muppets’ personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, breakups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires.
The Muppets are showing up and showing out, especially Miss Piggy! She and Kermit the frog already announced their shocking Break-Up in Aug. Say it ain’t so!
