Several people are angry with A&E for a new project they have decided to premiere in the top of the year 2017, and with pretty valid reasons. On Jan.10, A&E will debut their new documentary series “Generation KKK,” an eight-episode series that takes viewers into the lives of notorious klan members. A black woman becomes #bankNOTEable in Canada!!! Activist Viola Desmond will be on Canada’s $10 bill!

Many of us know that Canada had a Civil Rights Movement of their own, and black people from all over the world were taking a stand through public sit-ins and other boycotts that showed many business owners and public officials that we were not going to be undermined and mocked any longer without a fight. We already love them for their impeccable artistry, but now we can say we love them for supporting our very own HBCUs! Mainstream entertainers Tyrese Gibson, Usher Raymond, Future and Young Jeezy have each recently donated $25,000 to The United Negro College Fund while at the 33rd annual UNCF Atlanta Mayor’s Masked Ball!!!
