HOUSTON — Just in time for 4/20 on April 20, Earth Day on April 22 and Willie Nelson’s 84th birthday on April 29, Hopdoddy is rolling out a brand new seasonal burger special called the Red Headed Stranger. In addition to the fun hippy-inspired burger, Hopdoddy is featuring a creamy goat cheese milkshake and a tangy ginger and bourbon cocktail through May 2. Red Headed Stranger ($10): Available April 19 – May 2, this vegetarian-friendly burger features a red bean patty made with hemp seeds, red quinoa, veggies, herbs, oats and seeds served on a toasted wheat bun with sambal mayo, spicy chili paste, and house made hippy slaw.
Billy Goat Shake ($6): Available April 19 – May 2, featuring house made ice cream blended with cajeta, a goat’s milk caramel, creamy goat cheese and pieces of spiced pepita brittle this shake has the perfect balance of sweet and tangy.
High + Rye ($8): Available April 5 – May 2, this seasonal spring sip is made with local rye bourbon, house made ginger syrup, honey water, fresh squeezed lime juice, and topped with a piece of sweet and spicy candied ginger.
