CYPRESS, Texas — It’s a festive Friday Night Bites at Bridgeland®, northwest Houston’s premier master planned community, this month with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a special holiday market, a live nativity, live music from the Joel Hernandez Band and more than a dozen Houston food trucks on Dec. 8.

Friday Night Bites is held on the second Friday of each month at Lakeland Village Center® in Bridgeland. The December 8 event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. with this month’s holiday entertainment sponsored by Houston’s First Baptist Church. In addition to Santa and Mrs. Claus and a live nativity, entertainment will also include a petting zoo and bounce houses.

The holiday market will feature local vendors including Southern Divas, Brandi’s Candles, Shammer Glass, Lynn’s Likes, Shoe Bar, Cherylynn Rose and Martina’s Marvelous Creations.

This month, Friday Night Bites includes the following food trucks: Korean Mexican barbecue from Oh My Gogi!; Mexican food from Tacos Ole’; The Potato Lady from Every-Bellies; European classics from Southwestern Eurasia; Cajun cuisine from Fleur De Lis Eatery; and Greek and American fusion from The Greek Squad.

Skye Café and Falacos will offer kids’ meals and vegetarian food, while desserts and beverages will be offered by The Baker’s Man, Lowery’s Pop-N-Spin,  Tiki Snow Cones and Popcart. Last but not least, The Backyard Grill will have a beer and wine garden.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to Friday Night Bites, with no glass containers permitted.

Located adjacent to Lakeland Heights®, Lakeland Village Center combines traditional small-town Texas architecture with a contemporary blend of more than 84,000 square feet of mixed-use development, all within walking distance for nearby residents. Lakeland Village Center is the first of four village centers planned in Bridgeland, offering a variety of dining, retail, professional services, medical offices and employment opportunities.
