HOUSTON—All dressed up (in who knows what) with nowhere to go?  Have I got the event for you!    Each year the Annual Halloween Party, benefiting Bering Omega Community Services, promises to be a frighteningly good time – and this year is sure to be no different.

Join hosts Fernando Aramburo (Bering Omega Board Member), Sarah Walters (Bering Omega Young Professionals Board Member), and Randy Yost at the hottest Halloween bash in Houston!

For the past three years, I have seen costumes that my own imagination (which is quite active) could not even dream of.  And each year, I work hard to find that right one to step my “ghoulish game” up and join in on the festivities.

For a $50 admission fee, guests are treated to music, drinks and enough blinking lights and creative costumes to keep the eyes dancing for days!  From the super sexy to the super unique, attendees go all out and who can blame them – the hosts bring the heat like non-other!

But more importantly, the Annual Halloween Party is for a good cause.; a worthy cause.  The Bering Omega Community Service Foundation and the Omega House are wonderful, charitable agencies that provide compassionate care to people living with the HIV/ AIDS virus and to their loved ones.

Since its inception, Bering Omega has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community. Today, there are four core programs available to clients. They consist of an oral health program, housing assistance program, day treatment program and Omega House, a residential hospice. With these services, the goal is to bridge the gaps in care for low income individuals by providing compassionate care in a client-centered environment to as many HIV/AIDS affected people as the organization’s size and resources permit, as noted on their website.

HIV/AIDS has crossed all preconceived barriers of race, gender, sexual orientation or any other demographic. This epidemic has taken countless lives of friends, colleagues, neighbors and family members. Bering Omega seeks to provide comfort, compassion and general betterment to anyone affected by this disease.

Join in the fight while joining in the fun.  It is time to get involved.  It is time to make a difference in someone’s life.  And it can all begin with something as simple as attending a party.  That small step can be what can lead you to more works with community involvement and charity. Combined efforts and combined resources can, hopefully, one day lead the way to finding a cure.

Tickets are on sale now – click here. Costumes are required, so get creative, baby!
