Earlier this week Chance The Rapper took to Twitter to give positive feedback on the movie, “Get Out,”  a thriller/ horror film directed by Jordan Peele.

He tweeted “Did I not tell yall #GETOUT was incredible!! Best film across any genre in a while go see it today!”

Moments after he expressed how great the film was, the Chicago rapper sent gave his fans a reason to love him even more.

“I bought all the tickets to #GETOUT at Chatham Theatre on 87th just pull up with ID and enjoy the movie,” he tweeted.

Twitter exploded after that announcement. If that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, rapper Twista chimed in to suggest that they keep it going. He tweeted in response to Lil Chano From 79th, “@chancetherapper we gotta keep this going I got the next movie.”

Maybe other artist will team up to continue this newfound tradition in their hometowns.

We’re not sure what’s going to be the next free movie that either of these hometown heroes will treat fans to, but we hope that it helps bring unity and positivity to communities.
